Handa Farms, Saskatchewan, Canada, was founded in 1900. It served as a landmark for travellers, providing a lit window for them to navigate their way across the Canadian plains.
Six generations on, the farm is still run by the founding family. To help with recognition, they needed a visual brand that reflected the history without clichés like a cow skull or rusty tractor.
Referencing a photograph of the original farmhouse that still stands, I incorporated type and a colour scheme that feels historical and would be memorable when seen on the sides of vehicles, on stationery and signage.
